Three situations where a call makes sense.

You’ve received a document and aren’t sure what it means
A Section 21 notice. A letter before action. A Companies House filing. An employer warning letter. The adviser will help you understand what it says, what rights you have, and what happens next.
You need to take action and want to know where you stand
Ending a tenancy. Pushing back on a redundancy. Disputing a refund. Responding to a small claims letter. The adviser will help you think through what to do based on what you describe.
You’re creating a document and want to be sure it covers what it should
Drafting a will. Writing a contract. Sending a letter of demand. The adviser will help you think through the clauses or terms you might need.

Common questions.

Is this legal advice?+
The adviser gives you general legal guidance based on what you describe. They won’t represent you, write a formal legal opinion, or review documents in detail. For those, you need a solicitor. The helpline is for understanding your situation and knowing what to do next.
How do I know which tier to pick — personal or business?+
If the matter is about you as an individual, it’s a £49 personal call. If it’s about a company you run, a commercial contract, a business dispute, or any matter on behalf of your business, it’s a £79 business call. If you’re unsure, pick personal — the adviser will tell you if it should be upgraded.
Who actually answers the phone?+
The helpline is provided by Law Express Ltd, a specialist legal guidance company. Calls are answered by experienced legal advisers — the same helpline used by some UK insurers for their policyholders.
What if my matter needs more than one call?+
Most people get what they need from a single call. If you want a follow-up on the same matter, book a second call. For anything that needs ongoing representation, you’ll need a solicitor — the adviser will tell you so if that’s the case.
Can I get a refund if the call isn’t useful?+
Yes. If you feel the call didn’t help with your situation, contact us within 7 days and we’ll refund in full. No friction, no forms.

Not legal advice. This is a telephone guidance service provided by Law Express Ltd, a separate company. LegalDocuments.co.uk and Law Express Ltd are not law firms and do not provide legal advice. Callers receive general telephone guidance based on the situation they describe. For advice on your specific matter, please consult a qualified solicitor.
